What is Strong Start?

Strong Start is a 6-week virtual live group program that will teach you how to set personalised goals and create sustainable habits so you can stick to them, no matter how busy your life gets or your past experience of goal setting.

Why I created Strong Start

Recently I started to see so much misinformation around fitness and consistency.

People online were making things overly complicated.

Suggesting that we need to spend the whole day doing specific exercises for every little thing and following complex rules about how to move in very specific ways.

I’m sure you’ve seen the posts with red crosses and green ticks and the ones that say do this one special move to fix this, when someone else says the complete opposite!

This leads to us doubting ourselves, worried we might do it wrong, and we lose confidence and end up doing nothing. Sound familiar? 

This is also so far from the truth, what we really need is a few basic, simple, foundational movements that we do in a way that works for our own bodies.

We are all unique and so should be the way we move.

Building strength, fitness and confidence that allows you to tackle anything life throws at you.

I wanted to simplify things for women because we've already got enough going on, and create a space to come together, receive support, and provide training and resources on building, adjusting, and tracking your own workouts.

My goal is to help you build confidence and fit movement through your day, in a more manageable and achievable way.

Using a few basic movements and my knowledge of habit creation and sustainability, with my own brand of fun, enthusiasm and motivation the Strong Start program was created.

Week 1: Daily habit quick start

Learn proper goal setting by evaluating where you are now and where you want to go, so you can begin to connect emotionally to your goals and help you create lasting change and help you stay motivated and prioritise your health, even when life gets in the way.

Learn why cardio is important and get moving so you can take your first steps to build movement into your life and begin to feel the benefits of regular movement increased energy, clearer head and the ability to handle anything life throws at you.

Week 2: Confidence with strength

Learn how break down your goals into bite-size steps that are achievable right now so you can step out of the all-or-nothing mentality and begin creating habits you can stick to long term and enjoy so you can feel strong, confident and energised without spending hours in the gym.

Find your way to feel strong. You will learn how to embrace your unique starting point and how strength training is not just about hardcore workouts but a journey towards enhancing your overall wellbeing, building confidence and helps you stay strong and independent.

Week 3: Bye-bye inconsistency Hello movement routines

Learn the power of bite-sized movements to help you effortlessly incorporate more movement into your day via quick and easy solutions that don’t pull you from your already busy schedule so you can boost your mood, improve sleep.

Learn how to build resilience, that bounce-back ability so you can you feel empowered to take on any challenge the day throws at you.

Week 4: Build your own workout Discover what works for you

Learn how to exercise for strength and make fitness fun by taking the guesswork out and creating your own easy, actionable plan that fits your energy and lifestyle so you can boost your confidence and prioritise and care for yourself.

Feel empowered as you learn more about your body, understand how and why we experience pain and how we can better improve that experience for ourselves and take control as our body heals from injuries. When we understand what is going on we can take more control and have more autonomy over our own body creating a better healing environment.

Week 5: Create a backup plan For those busy times

Embrace the ebbs and flows of life, set up contingencies and learn the importance of setting a bare minimum to help you maintain consistency or come back to when life gets busy. Movement is the elixir of life and we want to make it part of our lives by creating a balanced approach that works for your unique life.

Learn the importance of sleep and how we can improve it to build our resilience. Helping you raise your energy so you can enjoy more mental clarity, and feel more focused and productive to tackle your tasks for the day.

Week 6: Celebrate and continue

Learn how to keep going and celebrate how far you have come. We want to make fitness and movement a part of who we are and an integral part of our lives. This will help you to stay motivated and consistent, turning your fitness journey into a lifestyle you love. You will learn how to move freely in your own body so you can feel kick-ass and powerful inside and out.

You will learn that stress is not good or bad, rather we need the right amount of it depending on your goal or activity. Understanding this allows you to know and trust that your body can support you helping you achieve more than you thought possible.

  • When you join the Strong Start program, you will get access to 16 short video trainings (with audio alternatives for on the go learning), quizzes and worksheets for a deeper dive into the subject. Following the 3-part ABC Framework and with a focus on Movement (what), Implementation (how) or Education (why). This includes training on cardio, strength, resilience, sleep, stress, pain and injury, goal setting, habit building and much more. Trackers to keep a record of your plan and progress and keep yourself accountable and the community for support, feedback and accountability from me and the rest of the group. All the program content, trackers and the movers community can be accessed at any time via desktop, or via the movers app on a mobile device.

  • The support inside of Strong Start is unlike any other program, I know you'll be supported. However, I know that sometimes you need a little more accountability and personalised support. That's why I offer the Premium Experience which includes private support from Lisa. This is an additional investment on top of the program.

  • My goal is to simplify things for you, I get it you are busy and don’t have time to fit movement in as it is so why should you add anything else in? I have kept the trainings short and actionable and will show you how to fit movement into the pockets of time in your day. By moving more you will also feel more energised, focused and have a clearer head to take anything the day throws at you.

  • That’s up to you! Will you receive high-value content and trainings each week that when implemented will help you prioratise yourself and build sustainable fitness habits that last? Yes!
